Windows 7 Logon Background Changer
Windows 7 Logon Background Changer is a free open source software for changing the wallpaper of the Windows 7 logon screen.
This program was tested in the final version of Windows 7 and Windows 7 RC (7100) and works very well. It is compatible with Home Basic, Home Premium , Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise in x86 or x64 version (32 bits or 64 bits). It does not work on Windows 7 Starter (Edition sold with most of netbooks). It also runs on Windows Server 2008 R2 (but who would ever think to customize a server?).
• This program does not change any file system and no admin rights is required to make it run. You only have to run a “CMD” file as admin when running the program for the first time. Then any user of the machine can change the logon screen. But you can prevent them from doing so by clicking the “Settings” button.
• It creates a few JPEG files out of the images that you would like to use as wallpaper and then it resizes and crops them by keeping the highest quality with the best possible compression.
